Justin Timberlake -- Mirrors
Justin Timberlakes' new song, "Mirrors" is just phenomenal. The different emotions the song had me go through says a lot on its own. It's good to see JT stepping out of his comfort zone and showing a more emotional and personal side of him. The song is dedicated to his grandparents, William and Sadie who were married for 63 years. The plot of the video was to show all the memories the couple shared since their teenage years through the eyes of Justin's grandmother. It also focuses on how empty her life seemed to have been after the death of her husband, William. At the very end of the video we see Sadie taking off her wedding ring and dropping it, and Timberlake catches it. It is here that JT says he will try to carry on their legacy... Such a beautiful song and video. Nowadays divorce rates are so high, marriage rates are so low; people just don't seem to stay together. So, to know that a couple was able to stay together for 63 years and only death did do them apart, shows and mean alot.
