A year ago

A year ago today, my life seemed to be in shambles. I cried every chance I got, I was hurt, I was sad, and on top of that I was taking my fall semester finals. I prayed everyday like I always did and I asked God to guide me, to ease the pain, and to remove those people from my life who did not deserve to be in it. 

By the time I was done with my finals though, my grades turned out superb. My grades were actually the best they have ever been since I got to college. 

Now fast forwarding to the present... God gave me exactly what I asked for and even made me a soldier on top of that. Allahu Akbar. I am humble and forever thankful. Good things happen to good people
