More than a picture...

Many may just see sneakers, glasses, and a flag in this picture but as for me I see so much more. I see struggle, dedication, motivation, hurt, pain, determination, pride, success, change, transition, and growth. When my journey started several months ago, I didn't know what to expect. Yes, I heard stories but I wasn't really sure if my experiences will be similar to those stories I've heard. These were the sneakers I was issued that I performed physical training in each and everyday. These are the sneakers that have gotten me through just about every single physical activity I had to endure at basic training. These are the eyepros that protected my eye sight day after day. This was th start of my transition to a soldier !!
