I didn't listen

God told me to let you go, but I didn't listen. Momma said something wasn't right about you, but I didn't listen. I prayed and asked God to show me signs, and he did but...I didn't listen...

Sometimes people gotta be left alone to figure things out on their own. The best teacher a person could have is experience. Sometimes we fail to acknowledge all the advice we are giving from those around us and we disregard or overlook all the signs that are right in our face. WE, as human beings like what we like and the last thing we want is for those things that we like to not be good for us in the long run. 

...after all the hurt, pain, and sacrifices, I finally listened...to my heart.
