One of the most memorable things that took place in my life is the day I went off to basic training. Many of last years experiences are all a blur, but August 6, 2014 is a day I will never forget. As this day approached I was anxious, excited, and terrified. As I have been in the Army for over a year now, last year on this very day was the day I actually went on to becoming a United States soldier. This was also the day I decided to make necessary changes in my life. It is amazing how much can change within a year.
