Soundtrack of my life

The day I graduated college and received my undergraduate degree, I did not cry although I thought I would. I didn't cry because it was not emotional. It was actually a time of celebration, a time of happiness, a time of transition and a time for growth. 

The day I received my cap and gown was a far more emotional day for me. On that they, I reached a milestone. Receiving my cap and gown was confirmation that I made it and that my hard work and dedication was not in vain. I had goosebumps and was anxious until the very moment I received and placed my hands on my cap and gown. The cap and gown symbolizes completion and I felt every bit of that on that day. 

I stared at my cap and gown because although i knew I did what I had to do and earned it, I was still amazed and in awe.
